Hello, I live in New York City.

Before I moved into my apartment, I viewed the place and asked the previous tenants still living there how the super handles repairs. She said there was a leaky pipe under the kitchen sink and said it was fixed right away. I didn't take a look. The day before moving in, I came to the apartment to clean; the pipe was still leaking, I believe it was bad previously as the bottom to the cabinet is "sunken" in, to fix the issues, the super had simply just placed a piece of plywood, not covering the entire damaged. Can I asked for that to be fixed properly ?

Thanks!
