You're going to condemn the whole site because of a couple of typos ??? What a moron. The information there is sound, regardless of the typos, so you can howl all you like, no one cares.

You DO sound like a debt collector though.

Phas - you should have filed your Answer by now, otherwise you're probably too late, they will have a judgment against you.

Its never too late to see if they will settle for less - even if they have a judmgent already.

As a last resort, there is always bankrutpcy - legal and permanent.

in your dreams, pal.

Unless they want to file for bankruptcy, at some point they're going to be forced to pay on a judgment but there is NOTHING that says you only have to do it on THEIR terms.

Time out! What is the amount of the unsecured debt?

Stay within Federal Law. You can fight if you want to. LIR is wise to urge staying away from "strawman" strategies. You are the one(s) in control--remember that. If the amount is small then settlement down the line is achievable. Do you sincerely feel you owe this balance? BK is the last resort but keep that in your back pocket, for now. Yes, meet with the BK attorney. Continue to ask questions and learn. You'll be surprised at what you will find out. But again, what's the amount in question?
