Ahh. Jumping ahead into the future to a possible violation by the 20-year-old of a possible restraining order issued against him possibly by a court if the guardians of the 17-year-old do not care for her choice of friends? ;)

Quite frankly, given the same ages as given here, a 20-year-old should probably worry less about having consensual sex and worry more about sexting. That is where a 20-year-old could find himself facing legal issues in the future.
