Judging from what the KY statutes say, they have placed a lien against your house. IF you sell it, that lien is going to have to be paid off FIRST, that is the purpose of a lien.
If you file for bankruptcy (Ch 13 with that much equity), ALL collection action stops, including forclosures and sheriff's sales. If you file Ch 7 with the intent to give up the house, then they could file for a Relief from Stay to continue with forclosure. It may or may not be granted by the court depending on your situation. How long you'd have to stay in the house depends on the creditor - some move very quickly, some don't.
