I can not claim adverse posession by any stretch of the laws. The man who sold it to me can. He had use of it for twenty + years.

I'll take that as a good hint and try searching it. the article I think your refering too; the one linked earlier, is now no longer there so I'll search out tacking.

Thank you for the hint about Tacking. I filled a notice of Adverse Posession on that piece of property with myself and the previous claiments time of use tacked together to more than meet the 10yr rule.

Does not mean the owner of property the easment on will abide by things... but it is one more foot in the right door.

You can request free consult with attorney through the bar association. I would recommend you contact the bar association for help-should be 800 number listed in the yellow pages. There are ways you can get agencies involved, however, their response is going to cover their liability and not be to protect your interests in this matter.
