Marriage and Credit card debt/Debt elimination

Hello- I have credit card debt and I'm getting married next year. I'm going through a debt elimination program. How do keep my finance situation seperate from my wife, when I get married. Is she going to have any financial responsibility when we get married? I would want to avoid this at all costs. Thanks for your assistance with this matter.

No, she should not have ANY liability for your pre-marital debts. Community property/debts only comes into play AFTER you're married and incur debt.
