Call the cops and tell them your mother kicked you out.

No. You can't.

The age of consent in FL is 18 and the close-in-age exceptions do not apply here. Your BF can find himself in jail if you are living with him.

What charge? There is no information from the OP that there is a sexual relationship which would be a crime. Providing basic needs such as housing, clothing, etc is not a crime.

Do you seriously expect the authorities to believe that a 17 year old girl and a 22 year old guy are living together platonically? You're a fool if you do.

Doesnt matter what the authorities may believe, it matter what they can prove. Sure I think they are sexually involved, but can the law prove it. So just living together won't get him thrown in jail. It will get her taken into protective custody or turned over to mom and an investigation, but no jail.

Depends. In some states, being seen coming out of the house of a person of the opposite sex is sufficient to prove adultery. The same thing might well apply here.

But, if not, there are plenty of other charges they can use - corrupting a minor, for example.

If your mom is ANY thing like my mom, she'll call the cops on your boyfriend for housing you.

So, i'm going to ask, where is your dad? Any family in the area? A close girlfriend whose parents can help you out?

And when the investigation turns up the fact that they are doing the horizontal mamba...you don't think he's getting jail time?:rolleyes:

No. It is not okay for you to be living with your boyfriend. I don't know how to make it any more clear than that.

If you really don't like your boyfriend that much, then by all means, move in so he can get carted off to jail and you'll end up right back at home with mom or in foster care. You pick.
