So what do you think about this?
At the time of divorce, my ex was making 15 dollars an hour and I was making 8.50. We have one child and I took over health insurance because I KNOW my ex's job history and didnt want my son being without medical insurance every few months.
So...my ex was ordered to pay 620 a month.
Now...fast forward three years later and he changed jobs at LEAST 4 times in the last 3 years. He has ended up in a crappy job making 9 dollars an hour and it isnt exactly full time.
I was promoted twice at my job and make about 13 dollars an hour. (I would also like to mention as well that I have carried a second job this whole time although I dont work it very often anymore. At this point its strictly holiday, temporary, etc.)
So, my ex wants to have his child support lowered to about 230 dollars I think it was. He is going only on what he makes. He isnt taking into consideration that I have our son most of the time and that he hasnt even taken him on his weekends like he is supposed to for most of this year. I am still carrying insurance. Very soon I will have rent and electric to pay for which I havent been paying all this time as we have been living with my parents.
Plus, there is about 3000 dollars he is behind on.
So, what are his chances, in Florida, to have his child support reduced to where HE wants it at about 230??
