I just get worried because throughout the past 2 1/2 - 3 years it seems that the courts have been the one that determines what it in my kid's best interest, rather then trusting that I as their parent know what is best for them. So I don't want to make a mistake by not allowing her contact and then the courts giving her a modification based on that.
That is so understandable. I agree w/CJane, too. The things you have initiated that you aren't required to do, you can just stop. Leave the ball in her court to exercise what's in the court order (which isn't much) and keep up the good vigilant work you've done protecting your kids otherwise. It's so disgusting what that man did to your daughter, no excuse whatsoever. That's such an easy one for a normal person to see how criminal that was.

Ok you convinced me. I will not be allowing anymore phone calls and when/if she ever chooses to visit, we'll deal with that then. I can't imagaine she will try all of a sudden, but you never know with her. Lastly she told the kids that she is trying but there is a waiting list??? My understanding was that the visitation center contacts both parents directly to arrange a visit, so I think it's another one of her stories. But who knows.

Thank you everyone for all of your advice... I fear we still will have a long road ahead of us, I think so far I really only know the tip of the iceberg of what has been done to my kids.
