i was worried that genuflect meant using their ends as a musical instrument...i googled....so phew!Oh now that is frightening.
I'm going back to my reading, as I have just learned that oxen can be trained to genuflect and whistle softly in the moonlight. Alas, I did not discover whether or not they can wipe their own butts...
as for wiping their butts....you know how dogs slide their rear ends on freshly washed carpets......i think the oxen use the grass as the carpet...that's my guess.
