What is the name of your state? Florida.
I owe some money -around 2,500$-to two credit cards since april 2000.
Meantime some collection agencies bought these accounts.
I would like to find out what is the SOL in Florida. Thanks!!!

The SOL for credit cards in Florida should be 4 years (Open Accounts) per the Truth in Lending Act, however, your courts are ruling that credit cards are Written Agreements making the SOL 5 years from the date of last activity. Activity is either a payment or charge.

I hope this answers your question.
