Going to check into it Monday, after seeing if I can find one for LA on the internet to file. The first 3 weeks the baby constantly told me how her mom fell and busted her nose, and how the doctors took mommy away. I'd just tell her, yes, mommy got sick and the doctors are taking care of her, now she'll just say (at least once a day 4 months later) that the doctors are taking care of mommy but she will be okay. She is such a bright little girl.

Just remember if mommy isn't okay then this child has false hope and that itself could really affect the child so you may want to consult a therapist in helping dad explain (as much as possible) to her what is going on should there come a time where she has to be told the doctors can't help, and you don't want the child to fear dr.'s (going there and never coming back and ending up in heaven - or how ever a little girl would see it)

Truthfully I've been thinking about that quite alot lately, what I'm gonna tell her if her mom doesn't make it. I'm the grandma, they both (son & fiancee) have lived with me quite a bit in the last 6 years since they were together, I love the mom like my own daughter also, she says she wishes I was her mom. ha. This is so heart-breaking! I will have to check into some kind of counseling for the baby, my son may need some too if she doesn't pull through.
But first we will have to get the order for custody, that is the first adgenda, to make sure the baby is always safe.
Thank you for your response.
