Mother would like change of custody and legal status

You keep mentioning homework - how much homework does a first grader have? I mean... I have a first grader right now, and he's my third first grader, and while he occasionally has a math pretest, or spelling words to study, I wouldn't consider ANY of the stuff he brings home to be more important than time with me or any other family member.

I said she has homework, I never said I placed more importance on it then the talks with the mother.

Mother gets her time. I was just stating the mother would talk an hour if I let her, and she would cut into my time and the things that need to be done before bed.



In kindergarden they loaded her up with two pages. 1rst grade is one page min a night, plus weekly spelling due thurs that is about 3 paged long. We spend about 20 min.

Today was court.

Judge said he wont rule on it instantly, and would have a answer in about 9 days from now.


I honestly am not sure how he will rule, My daughter will stay in school here im pretty sure. Mom isnt contesting that to hard.

Summer hours are up but im open. Mom may get an extra 30 days vacation out of country every year, but ill get make up days every other year if she uses the time. Im OK with that.


Legal custody, well it depends on how much he leans on the mediation report.


The fact he wanted over a week to decide tells me he may actually read the mediation report now. Hopefully he will even get to read my decleration.
