Moburkes, you are right. I re-read his posts (both threads) and it doesn't appear he has proof that the letters were sent saying "arrested and charged", only a belief that they were. Which is sort of a moot point now, seeing as how, as discussed on the other thread, he has been charged, so the letters would not have been libelous anyway.

Thank you Quency and much respect. I appriciate your time as well as others.
I do have letters from clients and clients ready to testify.
Also entertainment is very cut throught. I was getting more booking than the other owner/entertainer. Also this entertainer has on several occations tried to sale himself instead of me. Also lowered his rates to try to compete with me. Client still wanted me. This is a battle that has been going on for 4 years of the 15 years ive been with them.

I dunno, Quincy, in this case I think the OP has admitted in his other thread that he is a drug dealer. I think the former employer used poor judgment in putting any information about the criminal matter in the letter, but I'm having a hard time seeing this particular "victim" as being damaged by it.
Let me answer your question in the best and non offensive way possible.
If i own a shipping company. I do not know what people ship so does that imply im
a drug dealer.
Also If i watch your dog and your dog craps out a comdom with drugs in it then what do i do?
Should i call the police on you or your dog or the dog might of ate it while on a walk.
Just to let you guys know.
We are not talking about street drugs or painkillers so keep the smart ass remarks to yourself when you assume i am a drug dealer!

I came here for advice not to be held to what the media believes and posted. They posted what law enforcment might or might not have found.
Also if you think they had a strong case. Do you think they would of left evidence at the sceen so they can come back again?
They left items that i had to call my attorney and I told him. I have an idea what this stuff might be BUT there comming back. What do I do.
BUT they never did and they did try to set me up i found out latter that would of sealed there arrest.

SteveE -
I hope that you are met with fairness and impartiality when you go before the magistrate in Texas. It is unfortunate that too many people in our country are willing to convict a person upon arrest and before a trial, and I am aware that this could very well be fueled by the media (although I like to think that isn't the case).
