the ipod and dvd players are going to get depreciated value, as well as the cloths and cd's.

I know you are heartbroken, and you can sue if you want, if that will make you feel better but all of your stuff might be only worth a grand total of 100.00

If you want to cause some stress for the perpetrator, sue for 1,000... but don't expect to get that much.

gather your proof, your list of items, the message you got saying everything was discarded, bring it in, and make them account for why they did this, and have them prove they tried to contact you before just trashing your things.

You wont get your stuff back but maybe you will feel better.
