What is the name of your state? PA
My car just literally tapped the rear of the car in front of me but there was no damage - not even a scratch to either car. The other driver called the police and ambulance. The paramedics told him he is fine after examing him for a half and hour.
I went and got the police report yesterday. It says non-reportable accident and there is "no damage to either vehicle". The officer also wrote I was too fast for the condition. It was freeze-raining and the road was little slick at the time. There is no citation or violation on the report though.
We both share the same insurance company. Two days ago an adjuster from the insurance company called me and wanted to talk about the accident. He said the other driver filed a claim that he was injured. The agent wanted to record my account of the incident but I told him I may need to talk to an attorney first. He said he will send out his people to check on our cars for damages. I told him I took pictures of the cars at the scene as well and can send them.
Should I talk to an attorney and follow his advise? Or give my account of the incident and send the photos to my insurance company? Thanks
