My daughter lives with my ex and her grandmother and I only see my daughter for very little.

I know I need to go to mediation and possibly court.

Only problem is my ex has said in whatsapp that I am mentally abusive and I apologised for it.

How ever I have not been mentally abusive and only got annoyed at her for letting me down constantly. I have not called her names, put her down nor have I been violent.

Because I apologised.. Would this go against me in court. Could I lose the case and even get arrested?

Thankyou,
Russell

I suspect WhatsApp isn't going to be admissible as evidence. Court orders protect everyone. But you need to actually file them. Be aware that if you have not been determined to be the father, a paternity test is a good first step. Through the court.

ETA your state matters, too. Or the child's state, if they're different.

Oof... that's an issue - we really only deal w/US law here... Sorry. You'll need to deal with someone there who handles Family Law issues.
