Need help - false claim form property management

Hi All, I stayed at a apartment near keys showroom (Zip 91367). Our Lease tenure was for 15th months. We stayed at the ground floor but there was roaches problem was there. We complained several time they send us pest control person but it never worked. After the lease tenure, we don't want to continue our stay with them. So we left our apartment on 31st Oct. We left appliance clean and working position.But after 21 days we received a bill $ 1587.21 from management. In the bill they mention ”Replacement - appliance due to roach infested”.
Please Advice what to do in this situation. Need help for false claim form property management. Please help me.

1. edit your post to remove the identifiable name of the complex.

2. send a certified letter indicating you deny the claim on account of the ongoing reported infestation you reported,

3 if this involves your security deposit, file small claims and sue them for return of your deposit.
