I don't think ANY adjuster is going to help. The insured should have scheduled the books, and it doesn't appear that he did.

What was the last claim denied for?
Agreed. As it stands, he just lost maybe a thousand or two used books. OP, whenever an item has a collectors value or is above the policy limits, you need to purchase a special rider for the item.

It is important that the value of the books be determined. Who is expert in knowing values. Some policies have limits where higher end values must be stated.
