Our order says nothing about vacations, other than summer vacations from school when I get certain weeks during the summer. He took the vacation without notifying me properly that my visitation would not happen the weekend I was suppose to have them.

Which is all moot, wrt this weekend. It sounds as though he had plans based on the kids being with you. So now he's taking them with - your option is to go to where the kids are with him. No court is going to smack him for expecting you to get them from there given it is your issue why they can't be picked up on time.

I thank you all for your input. I don't want to confuse the issues of what happened this weekend with other times. My question was actually for this weekend due to mandatory work time and trying to switch days to see my kids. I appreciate the input from everyone, and this forum. Faith
