Resolution

Well, Jetx you really know your stuff, pysch. Turns out that not only did all of the lawyers that I spoke too think that I had a strong case so did the new landlord. I had my lawyer draft a demand letter to the new landlord and less than 4 hours after receipt they agreed to my terms. It goes to show that freeadvice may be good for getting an idea about the legality of your case. But when push comes to shove it's time to hire an actual lawyer. If I would have listened to Jetx's bad advice I would have been out $20,000 + over a 5 year period. Instead I paid a lawyer $1,000 and got immediate resolution. No offense Jetx but your advice was pretty off point.

Not Only Did The New Landlord Want To Settle Out Of Court, He Insisted That The Old Landlord Pay All My Legal Fees. I Got The Signed Lease And Reimbursment For Every Penny I Paid My Lawyer.

And of course, your a lying sack of crap. If ANY of your idiotic claims are correct, simply redact ANY form you got supporting your crap, post it somewhere and provide a link. If you can't or won't, you make my point that you are lying.

Jetx sucks

Just cause you read an article about being a lawyer in readers digest doesn't make it so Jetx. Lets break down how this thread has gone. You gave bad advice. I call attorneys they all tell me I have a strong case. You lie about asking dozens of real estate law professors. I didnt know that the local community college had a law school. If you were in any "real" law school you wouldn't have time to spend all day online posting mediocore at best advice. I hire an attorney. I file an affidavit with the court and have my attorney draft a demand letter. The landlord agrees to my demand letter. You have way too much time on your hands. I'm guessing that your some punk high school kid. Your advice sucks and then you get resentful when your wrong. I don't see any reason why the burden of proof lies on my shoulders. I should post a link to verify my claim?? You should post a link verifying that you are not in a special ed class. Why don't you do something productive like go play in traffic. You watched a couple night court reruns and all of sudden your a lawyer. My advice to you is get a life and stop giving bad advice. Hey if "law school" doesn't pan out I heard Wal Mart is hiring.
