Based on the non-questions in the first post:

The X-MIL doesn't have any rights - only dad. You really have the right to IGNORE her completely. If it gives you great pleasure, make HER ringtone "silent."

Why do people keep harping on the supposed non-questions in the first post? First of all, why is this an issue for some senior members? Second of all, some people replied to it without smart ass remarks so they knew it was a question. So since there are a few people who think this a forum for people to bash on other people's grammar. Let me give you a grammar lesson elementary style. Indirect questions such as those involving the words "I was wondering", are not supposed to have a question mark. For those of you who insist on not believing me here's a link. The Question Mark

no need to get snippy with me. It wasn't a per se question, so I was SURMISING that might be what you were trying to figure out.
