No one expects silly back-and-forth messages from you or anyone else. The forum members only expect that those who call themselves lawyers on this forum have their credentials verified by the administrators of this site. If you have now complied with the administrator’s request to provide your state Bar information, good.

It is perhaps important for you to remember that this forum is not a personal platform, you are not the only attorney who is offering information on this site, and others on this forum (attorney or not) may be more knowledgeable than you in certain areas of the law. What you present in the way of legal information may be questioned by others. You should be prepared to support what you write, as time-consuming or annoying as you might find this to be. Try to play nicely with others. ;)

With that said, welcome to the forum. I hope your contributions will prove helpful to the visitors who are seeking state-specific legal information and direction.

Your posts would seem to indicate that you are unfamiliar with the commonly accepted meaning of that word.

Your posts addressing legal issues would seem to indicate that a better use of your valuable time would be sticking to legal areas that you actually are familiar with. Family law is clearly not one of those areas.

I am truly sorry that you feel that way. It is always helpful to have another attorney posting. I am sorry that you feel chased away.

Sorry Stealth but I thing he validly felt chased away.
Nope. We validly asked if he was site vetted. His refusal to answer resulted in hurt fee-fees. Oh well. It would not surprise me to discover he is actually NOT a lawyer but is using us to validate his departure.

I am sorry to hear that, Edgar.

It DOES take a rather thick skin and a sense of humor (not necessarily a good sense of humor ;)) to survive on a forum. Because there are a lot of conflicting personalities jockeying for space to be heard, it is not a comfortable place for everyone.

That said, you are leaving before you are called a Nazi sympathizer or a troll or pond scum, so more power to you. I hope the little time you have available to help others is put to good use elsewhere.

I've been called much worse on other forums.
