Not married, pregnate and dad wants baby!! Help!!

Ohio My daughters friend is 6 months preganate. She has never been married. The baby's father and his family are trying to get full custody of the baby. They have money, she does not. There are no negative 'strikes' against either one of the parents. Both of them want the baby, but not each other. She is very scared since his family is hiring the best lawyer money can get. What can she do??

Perhaps they can mediate a shared custody schedule that allows the baby proper time with each parent. Babies need both parents, not just one or the other.
