Was terminated for refusing to take 4th patient when other nurse had one- sleeping. Nurse retaliated by stating in front of Dr.'s, nurses and mgr that I disappeared for 2 hours (never would even dream of doing something like that) met with mgr to report the attempt to give me an addition to my overwhelming workload, and my fear of continuing to work with this nurse. I was told that she heard other complaints about the unfair assignments, and had plans to address it with the staff, but she told me the staff was complaining that I was "not a team player and unapproachable"- I was then told it was not a good fit and my contract was terminated. I asked the mgr not to put me on do not return/rehire, but later that day was called by HR and told I was going to be placed on do not return. I want to sue them for this- i don't even want to be a nurse anymore- so tired of the unfairness. I happen to be a damned good nurse!!!

You must have me confused with the OP...

I have over 50 employees in my office, and will be happy to let you shine my shoes for a quarter.

Go somewhere else, moron, you obviously are out-classed and out-witted here. You should stick to standing in the bathroom, looking at yourself in the mirror and chanting "I will be somebody, someday".
It suits your mentality better than trying to make lame attempts at humor...
(are you a Negro too???)

Apparently OP's child attends a school with 95% Black school population and is complaining because her son is experiencing discrimination by a White teacher and teachers of 99% white. The are looking to sue there as well. OP has an attitude and doesn't get along with people, that may be why they are haivng problems in the world and wanting to sue everyone. Perhaps this is the role model her child had and why they are complaining about discrimination. Panzertanker took the trouble to read OP's other thread.

teacher bullies

You bet I have an attitude. The school is not educating the kids in this school with books they way they are educating the kids in white schools in the same county- and the kids are treated like they are in correctional facilities on top of that, and I have an attitude because I question it? I don't get along with people? And at work they want to give me an unfair share of the patient load and for no other reason than because she was the white nurse, and I am supposed to be a team player and just play the game? Yeah
that might be the way it is done- just shut up and accept whatever is given- well guess what, I have done that for the last several years since moving to this Godforsaken state and now I am tired! It's time to fight. Besides, look what this country stands to gain- Increase in educated successful, black males (makes me warm), and, perhaps there will be more happy, well treated nurses to take care of people in need in the hospitals thus eliminating the shortage we face now.

So I have an explanation...what's YOUR excuse for being such a pathetic human being?
You have no idea who I am, but I definitely can tell that you must be typing this from the "livingroom" of your single-wide, 1972 mobile home. The one with green shag carpet, wood paneling, and fancy "built-in" cabinets.

Take a hike, loser. I don't argue with mental midgets...

I rest my case...
I KNEW she would play the race card.

Vindicated, once again!

OP:
Shut up. There is NOTHING to indicate racism. If you take into account your story AND your story about your son, it might appear that the problem lies with YOU not society. You seem to have an 'entitlement' attitude. Your son gets in trouble at school, instantly it is b/c he is black.
You get reprimanded and ultimately fired at work (while supposedly singled out for an unfair work load) and it is instantly b/c you are black.

You want an insane work load???
Go work a level I trauma center, then come back here and bitch...

Do we even need to ask why she could only gain employmnet thru a temp agency rather than full time employment with the shortage of nurses?

And your attitude is what got you fired, not race. Your race card games don't play in society, no matter ethnic origin.

Both contractors do, sorry. It's the laborers who don't except for roofing foreman & one roofer that I know of. Electric laborer I spoke with does; however, there's others I've seen working but haven't spoke with or tried to speak with them, yet.

We get a lot of illegal, uh, I mean undocumented workers, if they speak English they don't let you know, so it is difficult to get what you want done and the ones that do, still don't. :(
