We get a lot of illegal, uh, I mean undocumented workers, if they speak English they don't let you know, so it is difficult to get what you want done and the ones that do, still don't. :(
Same here. Thus far, I've only talked with workers that do speak English, and so have the inspectors. Since there's a new crew of roofer laborers, I should call code compliance and have them checked for work comp coverage. The first crew didn't have all of them covered when code compliance came. That was a good show I watched. I gave the code compliance guy the cell number of the roofing contractor. :D

Well, there was one on the first crew, Caucasian, that wasn't bad eye-candy. He's the one that told me about the black mold growing in the rafters prior to the roof being repaired and came back one day after quitting to take me for a ride on his motorcycle. Of course, I wasn't home.

I won't be in my new digs until next week, probably earliest Tues unless I get the lease done over the weekend and approved by the Board over the weekend (not likely) :( The owner lives out of state.

You better believe sippin' tropical drinks on the balcony and watching the show will be sooooooo sweet. I have to remember the butter, movie popcorn and crackerjacks too.
