I didn't mean you should have said anything...just that I would have...I grew up in Lynn...Very little scares/intimidates me!!
Heh.

I grew up 10 miles from town, 100 miles from the nearest 'city' (Kansas City). I'm still trying to get used to having neighbors I can SEE, let alone who share walls w/me!

Speaking of classy...

I'm sitting on my front porch eating my evening snack of french onion sun chips and pepsi while my son pushes his 'hippopomanus' toy around in the yard.

But the people just down the way... their kids who are probably about the same age as Twain (not yet 2) are just running from the front porch into the road. And Every. Single. Time. they do, their Mom SCREAMS at them to "Get the h*ll OUT OF THE GD ROAD!"

Apparently, the last straw was me raising my eyebrow at her because she threw down her cigarette, grabbed the kids, swatted their butts, screamed some more and put them in the car - so she could 'finish her GD cigarette in peace!"

So glad I don't live in a trailer park.
At least she cares enough to keep them out of the GD road....LOL

I seriously feel very sorry for Brittany. She became way too famous and way too rich, far too young (and obvously without any serious parental help) and is now imploding. Lindsay Lohan is another example of this...but at least she doesn't have children.

Hopefully this will be enough of a wakeup call for her to really get her act together. I am not impressed with K-fed either, but at least he seems to be waking up faster....or at least has enough sense to keep his activities private.

The reality of things is that many very responsible parents partake of mind altering substances from time to time....be they legal ones or illegal ones. However responsible parents don't do it around their children or allow it to effect their children.

Just as an example.....I have a cousin who is more like a brother to me than a cousin. About 10 years ago he was dealing with a bad divorce (no kids) and he came to live with me for a while, to get away and recoup. I KNEW for certain that he was occasionally smoking pot, and was pretty certain that he was doing it in my house....but I never caught a whiff of anything. (the industrial strength air cleaner in his bedroom was a clue...LOL)

My point is that I couldn't even accuse him because there was no evidence of any kind.

do they have cheetos and capri suns in Missouri?:D:p;)

As I read the article (okay, after my commentaries), I got to thinking .... they aren't allowed any drugs and alcohol 12 hours prior to having the kids in their possession .... wondering how K-Fed is handling sobriety?:D:eek::D

This is exactly it.

I figured it up today. Even if she only has to BE Britney 40 hours/week... she makes $4600+/HOUR.

You'd think, with that kind of cash flow, you could leave your kids at home instead of taking them to the club. You could hire a driver. You could buy panties.

You can't buy class... but with that kind of cash, you could fake it.... at least, you'd think you could. She, apparently, cannot.

Are there places where they DON'T?

Gawd, my kids would never eat lunch w/out capri sun and cheetos.

Sun chips are my idea of healthy snacking. Really.

Shut up.

He hired a nanny. He's getting more than 15K in CS... he can afford to have the kids in someone else's possession so he can get his drink on.

Gee ... I would think he would get more per month now that he has them 24/7 instead of 50/50 ... or do the California courts work slower there?

Well, in MY state (heh), if it's a temp order, Child Support wouldn't change.

I guess the whole thing is sad since we have irresponsible adults, who haven't grown up yet, having kids .... guess they aren't that different from many others on the board.

I think the judge is the first adult who isn't let her get away with murder! :D

Ummm... cheetos? Capri sun? Do they really not have them somewhere?

I heard that in Vegas they don't have Dr Pepper - only Mr Pibb... what's up with that?

Dr Pepper vs Mr. Pibb ... someone has a contract to have either Pepsi products or Coca-Cola products exclusively. In the entire city ... hardly doubt that! :D But since I don't drink either, wouldn't know ... I'm this horrid mother who won't brink home any soda pop into the house ... and makes 'em each fruit and vegetables. 10yo has to make her package of Oreos last two weeks! :D

And no .... that horrid woman from Chicago  certainly knew nothing, cuz I can guarannnnnnttteeeee that they had them there! :D

I bring it in the house. Can't live w/out my caffienated carbonation. But I don't let the kids drink more than 1 8oz glass/day and they can only either have caffiene OR sugar, but not both.

I won't allow oreos. I don't have the willpower to not eat 'em all.

Because I am the best girlfriend in the whole wide world, I made D'man homemade chocolate tapioca pudding. It is SO FREAKING GOOD!

But ummm... what is tapioca actually made from?

I am beyond feeling sorry for her. She skips around town, with this stupid grin on her face, completely oblivious to life around her; drags the kids around with paparrazzi in their faces 24/7. She almost has to be on something b/c who in their right mind has all that energy to be "on" all the time? The woman accomplishes more *worthless* activities in a day, than I do in a month. I just feel sorry for those kids. Makes you wonder what type of adults they'll grow up to be, if they're subjected to these 3 ring circuses their entire lives.

I do kind of wonder how this will play out as far as permanant orders go, b/c she's basically ignored every stipulation the judge has laid out thus far. Or gawd help us, for these bubble gum followers (if there are any left) who have kids and think they can get away with similar parenting choices b/c *Brittany did it*.

I don't do sodas at all...because I am allergic to caffeine and I don't see any need for the empty calories. However, my granddaughter's babysitter does like her pepsi and is bad about leaving it where my granddaughter can get it....

As a result...she (at 19 months) is constantly asking for "pop"...and is constantly dissappointed when grandma doesn't produce it. However, clever grandma has also convinced the child that orange juice mixed with club soda is also "pop"...LOL.
