Okay, Guess NYC.gov is posting incorrect info.
Honestly, I would take advice of HighwayMan- this user knows their stuff and don't trust what is on websites as 100%. They are not always updated to reflect changes in a timely manner.
ASINY...St George ave.
Taking a quick look at the intersection on Google Maps shows a sign posted that either reads "No Turn On Red" or "Left Turn on Red".... of course it could be a sign offering "Chicken and Waffles.." :D

However I did find this information, which would indicate that you did make an illegal right-turn. The question, that you may 'attempt' to argue, is why (if it was not) was this not clearly posted. This also is depends on if there is statute that it MUST be posted.
Route NJ 27
(a) Right turns on red signal are hereby prohibited to and from Route NJ 27 as follows:
iii. In the City of Linden:
(4) No Turns On Red - Stiles Street:
(A) From east on Stiles Street to south on Route NJ 27;

ASINY....LMAO!!! I was turing at the sunoco station, maybe I missed it but I don't see a sign there....

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong...guess I gotta pay for that mistake.

Sorry, I was looking at it how you gave the address;
North Stiles Street, then you gave St. George's Avenue (which would put you turning onto St. Georges).
What is the citation number on the ticket?
