"Guy"? The OP was very careful not to use gender pronouns. I suspect that the other party is actually female, because men often are under the (mistaken) impression that the gender of the other party somehow comes in to play.

It’s a pain to try to be gender correct. In my lexicon, pretty much anybody is referred to under male gender pronouns.

After trying to use he/she/it and due to my often inaccurate typing skills and people wondering why I’m talking about some guy defecating ( he sheit), I tend to stick with a single male pronoun.




That last part was nothing but a fabricated story but i think Quincy enjoys being entertained by me so I simply couldn’t resist. It does explain the basis of my choice in general though

My signature used to make it clear that gender pronouns applied equally as male/female whenever I posted...how I miss my signature.

To the questions about where is the information about sales being found.

I'm not sure on how accurate the records are but most real estate sites can be searched by agent name. These sites will list homes listed and/or sold by said agent as well. This owner/brokers agents except for one all have homes listed/sold on their website per agent.

Seems like agents like the recognition for their own advertisement. I would assume most would rather use an agent who sold $30mil in homes the last year opposed to an agent who has no sales?

That means nothing. As has been mentioned all sales by an agent are under the broker's licence as well. This particular broker may simply decide to only list his/her name on his website.

Of course they enjoy and want recognition for a sale. It’s both an ego boost and a sales tool. Legally all sales are the brokers sales. An agent cannot well a home themselves. They are agents of the brokerage and act on behalf of the broker.

Whether the list you view is accurate is unknown. There is no legal responsibility to publish the listing or selling agent it is an internal matter with the brokerage house.
