Thanks for all your replies, it doesn't matter what the pay net or gross, like some of you said, it will be 20% of whatever I make. If this does go infront of judge then he will look at me as deadbeat and no matter what the situation is..Thanks again

If you are paying child support like you stated that you are, then you are not a deadbeat.

If you are paying more than 20% of your NET income (child support is based on NET, not gross), then you should file for a modification.

My husband pays close to 50% of his income when you include 28% for child support, health insurance premiums, dental insurance premiums, childcare, etc.
