So you don't have any idea who the person is who has your old diaries and photos, knows about your wife's infidelity, knows about your disability and work status, knows where you live, and has enough of a grudge to watse his or her time posting nastygrams and doctored pictures of you on the internet?

That's a little hard to believe.
Not when you consider that some people have axes to grind against you.Or that you live in a small town where every one knows every one and your business no matter what it is can't be kept private regardless of what you want....

If you honestly believe this information on the website has damaged your reputation, hire an attorney and go to court to get the matter resolved. It will be money well spent if it leads to your peace of mind. However, I've got to say, if everyone in this small town already knows all this private information about you, then it will be very very very hard to prove the website alone damaged your reputation, and to convince a judge to do something about it.

It might be in your best interest to shut off your computer and forget the website. Whoever is posting will eventually tire of his/her nasty game, especially when he/she realizes you are not bothered by it.

I did not say i wasn't willing to try it but to do it i would need to know who i'm writing to.They know who i am not the other way around.Webmaster will only turn over ips if there is a suit being brought forth.I'm not complaining i'm looking for options on what to do.I'd tried the webmaster aproach.I've tried local law enforcement.Just looking for other options. Are you always this cynical or is it just me?
yes, I am always this cynical; and yes, it is just you.
