So I should be aware of the process - as if they do not find the driver of the other car at fault and I still make a claim with my company , it may cost me more in the end with higher rates ? Would you advise to drop the claim if the other insurance co. will not bite the bullet and pay my med . bills . What would you be aware of here . Thank you again- A

An insurance agent will never tell you NOT to file a claim. I don't know what the outcome will be, I am not a claims adjuster. Since you have filed the claim, the adjuster will walk you through the rest of the steps. There is nothing to beware of. Good luck.
