What is the name of your state? AZ
The Chief of Police who was in charge of the investigation into felony kidnapping and aggravated assault against me claims to have no reports or evidence. Can I sue him?

Of course you can. However, a better use of your money would be to put it in a pile and burn it. At least then you get some heat.

NOT CORRECT.

If you read the posts at the site you referenced.... you would see that the question/issue raised in this thread is NOT the same.
However, this post should have been added to the original thread (the one you cited).
It was the first of a series, you and I both know why nothing was prosecuted in 7 years.

It wasn't erroneous, she made a point re the Chief of Police being responsible from the begining and the SOL as well was explained.

...I escaped and the police were called from my neighbors house. The police Chief was in charge of the investigation but went into the hospital for ten days and would not allow anyone else to conduct the investigation. Hence, the warrants were not issued for 17 days and the perp was long gone by then. Can you just answer the question about the statute of limitations please? thanks... Thank you. As to your previous questions...I was severely traumatized and disabled for a year and a half. The police chief aided the man's escape(he was a snitch) but I cannot prove that...I could no longer work and lost my job my home and everything I valued. The main thing was getting me back into society and functioning. I was fighting a losing battle as the police were not my friends. Thanks again, you explained it for me.

Awwww, poor baby!!! Your question was answered accurately. Maybe not what you wanted to hear.... but accurate none the less.

Since we have this new 'instant replay' feature on the forum.... lets replay your question....

"Can I sue him?"
And the answer: "Of course you can."

Seems like a pretty direct answer to most of us, huh?? :D
