I have a friend that got divorced in the 80's and she didn't receive what she should have in an equitable distribution. Is there any room for recourse at this time legally? She received child support and alimony for a time and she also received an extremely small amount of cash that is it. They owned a nice home. He works for a well known pharmaceutical company and had been working there for years before the divorce. They had stock and he made a good living for the family. Michigan is the state where the divorce took place.

Apparently, at the time, your friend, her attorney and the judge thought it was equitable. It is over and one with and I would hope your friend would have her life together by now.
