Thank you,
so it's all a matter of intent, huh? And also the jist I was getting is that it's potentially worse for the recipient than the one who sends the package.

Oh and I don't think generally US law differs that much from Norwegian. Most democratic countries have a similar law structure.

I don't know but I can tell you a story that might relate. Online gambling is considered illegal in the USA. I don't know if you know about XXXX.com. But this was how most USA residents were moving their money back and forth from the gambling sites to the players banks. I believe they are in Canada. Anyways, when the two owners visited the USA, they were arrested and all monies confiscated. They been released since then and monies returned to the USA players. The agreed not to do business with USA players anymore. (hand slap)

Now they use credit cards and cash out with checks :)

But I would say your question only deals with the illegal's country dealing with the person there. Nobody is going to be extradited from one country to the next unless it's something very serious.

Let's say you sent your buddy a bottle of whiskey who was stationed in Iraq. A country where alcohol is illegal. Nothing would happen to you, but your buddy would be prosecuted under Iraqi law. The military would also punish him if caught.

Am I close??:)
