Also keep in mind, you are not the only one calling her. Was it you and your heart when it went off in class? This is disruptive and unfair to the other students. Even if it was an emergency, it should be handled by adults and get her out of class quietly. Why would you even want to put your child in that situation. My 10 year old has one, she is allowed to carry it to school, but it must remain off. Like someone else said it is tool to cheat and disrupt. Every child has a right to public education and it isn't fair for your child to ruin that for someone else.
