Come on Carl, you know that is b.s. It is all interpretation. Maybe even what an officer feels like doing. "Objective clues" can be different given different circumstances blah, blah,blah...
A clue is ether present , or it is not ... how is that subjective?

Training will always be an issue, but one either misses heel-to-toe or they don't ... either nystagmus is present, or it is not ... etc.

The "variables" I referred to had to do with the issue of the research that was alluded to where officers observed videos of FSTs and supposedly got the interpretations wrong.

1st you say "a clue is present or it's not" than speak of "wrong interrpretation". They are contradictory. If that's even a word.
There are basically no situations left that cannot be interpreted wrongly thus leaving anyone open to persecution.

So I guess it's time for you to give up and turn yourself in.

Your conspiracy theories get a little old after a while. We're not out to get you.

I am not going to guess what Carl meant by interpretation, but almost every SFST clue is objective. Off the top of my head the only one I can think of that is somewhat interpretive is the onset of nystagmus prior to 45 degrees. Unless one has a good way to absolutely measure the angle of the subject's eye that is somewhat open to interpretation.

Some interesting videos for you. I'm not saying your wrong and I'm right.
I have not watched these videos. But again, if your excuse is that the tests are too hard then I wouldn't be saying that in court unless you have a physical handicap or some type of serious mental disability.

2) I don't recommend that you get a breathalizer period. The ones they sell to the general public aren't that accurate. The ones they sell that are certified for by CHP, they don't sell to the general public. They only sell to agencies and to private attorneys. And, they cost in the few thousands.
well, this one for example is pretty accurate - Intoxilyzer Alcotest Breathalyzer Draeger 7410 Plus Rs | eBay

or this one -http://www.ebay.com/itm/Drager-Ignition-Alcohol-Interlock-/330652365036?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cfc6ab0ec#ht_500wt_1413

Don't get me started! LOL. I'll just say this: Theory is all nice and dandy, but it doesn't really play out like that in the real world.

I've said my peace. Enjoy chasing the rainbow!
