You 'missed' that this was a simple matter of the writers daughter NOT following directions and was NOT discriminated against. And rather than accept the fact that the writers daughter 'forgot', you apparently tried to find some way for her to be a victim by saying "I still view it as a discriminatory act".

* While I stated that NOT filling out the card on race choice was, in my opinion, discriminatory, I did not agree that the original poster should file suit.
I did ask OP if she had contacted an attorney.
I did also state that I viewed the disobedience involved.
Let us not start a dramatic conflict.

Good day to you JETX. I can agree to disagree.

Sorry, but this is NOT the Oprah or Dr Phil forum. This is a LEGAL advice forum. As such, the ONLY issue here is whether the writer has a legal cause of action. She doesn't.

Your post; however, was a personal opinion and has NOTHING to do with the law.

JETX,
While I see your point in offering no "legal" advice, I did ask the OP if she had contacted an attorney. She has yet to respond.

But, if I may offer this, I am sure that I am not the first person to NOT offer legal advice, and strictly offer an opinion.

I know it is irritating to those who practice law. I understand this is not Oprah or Dr. Phil. Thank you for pointing that out.

I will try to refrain from offering opinions, and from now on, try to offer real advice.

Good day to you.

Regards,
Plantinga
