Dear Sir,
Our co-operative housing society in Mumbai is in the process of redevelopment. Existing building is four floor and New Proposed building will be 22 storey tower. This is regarding allotment of flats.
1) All Society members had agreed allotment of flats thru Draw system in SGM held on in the year 2013.
2) Now Development committee has changed and are compelling for floor wise allotment since development committee members staying on higher floor and wants personal advantage.
3) Value of lower floor is higher in old ceased buildings w/o lift. So, existing members in lower floor should get preference for higher floor in new building. In spite, we are still ready to settle with draw proposal which is also denied.
4) Few society members have managed selective allotment with developer to get higher floor rise.
Hence, we lower floor members feel cheated.
Please do suggest how can we deal with this situation.
