What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
Hello all. Thank you in advance for your help. And yes, I know I should get an attorney but I cannot afford one. I've been doing pretty well with this case so far, with the help of some of the defense attorneys representing others in this case. However, I do have a question about a Request for Production of Documents. I just received a notice of deposition. Basically, the plaintiff attorney wants to depose me and has requested me to produce documents. I do not have, nor I ever had any of the documents he is asking for. He is asking for documents related to my employment at a place I worked at 7 years ago as well as anything related to my business relationship (that never existed) with an individual at that company. I do not have anything to give him. So, my question is, how do I respond? Thank you all!
