Hear that? That's the sound of me cheering you ryry's mom. Plifter is sooooooooooooooooo stuuuuuuuuuuuuuupid. But then, if they stop him in Walmart or Sam's Club, it's because he's black right plifter?

I believe WalMart is an unbiased 'show your receipt' store for this reason: a good friend of my husband's, who is in management, and who looks very dignified and respectable, stopped by WalMart with his wife. Their intent was to buy a sandbox and some toys for their grandchildren who were coming to stay for a couple of weeks. They purchased one of those green turtle sandboxes. The wife, Cora, went to the car with the smaller packages and to make room for the turtle sandbox. The husband hoisted the turtle over his back and carried it, one arm up and over the top and one arm around the side to the back. The security guard stopped him and ask for his receipt and would not take 'my wife has it' for an answer. Dumbfounded, the man began running, yelling, 'Cora, Cora come back with that receipt--they think I'm trying to steal this damn turtle'. Man with turtle on back and security guard running one way; wife with receipt running the other way. It was like a scene from the Three Stooges.

Pfilter's first lesson

I have an idea.

Since you all argued over Pfilter all over posts, why not let him do an experiment that he has been asking a question? Let him go in Wal-Mart and try out, then let us all know.

Umm okay?? What a great idea! Glad you thought of it!!! Here was my suggestion earlier, "Well plifter the next time you go into Sam's Club to stock up on baby oil for jerking off while driving maybe you could tell off the guard and walk out and see what happens. "

ryry's mom, in case you hadn't noticed, he does a lot of that.

But he's so brave, fighting for our country in that game and all, we should just let it go. He's much too busy trying to prove Wal-mart people are nazis and trying to make them a government entity so he can scream "VIOLATION OF MY CIVIL RIGHTS!" if they ask to check his bags without him wearing a sign around his neck saying "I am a shoplifter" to come up with an original post.

I hate to sound so cranky with him, but he's tossing opnions at people that if they take 'em, could get them into trouble, and most of the time doesn't even state that they ARE opinions. Not to mention he used to sign that he was a Brigadier General, which since it's signed that way, some of the more gullible people would give more credibility to him because of that, and he darn well knew it when he signed it that way.

At least those of us who aren't attorneys if we offer advice say we're not experts.

More on Wal-Mart

This story below was not mine, but I came across it. I know that it is not related to our subject, but partially related because it is against the US Government. Just wanted you all to read this story and give comments on what you think of.

Regards, Combat

Greetings, friends,
I have run across a situation that I think should be changed; it upset me
and so I decided to put it out on the Internet. If you decide to forward
this note to your friends, that's fine-if not, that's okay, too. Maybe I'm
wrong in feeling this way, but this is what I found on Friday, October 12,
2001.I ran to our local Wal-Mart store before I went to work. I needed a
couple of items before we left at noon for a short vacation. While I was
being checked out at the counter, I realized that I had not noticed an
American Flag flying outside and asked the clerk why there wasn't one. I
was
told that the policy is that Wal-Mart does not provide flags to their
stores-rather, each store must provide their own-at this store, the
employees would have to take up a collection among themselves to make the
purchase of the flag, pole & flood light. I was sure there was a
misunderstanding in that policy somewhere, but needed to hurry off to
work,
so I didn't pursue the problem.

As I drove to work I became more and more upset to think that the Company
that always "seems" to encourage patriotism and "Buy American" won't even,
in these days of horror and heroism and war on terrorism, provide their
stores with flags to show their support!!

When I got to work I told my co-employees what I had found that morning
and
they agreed that I must be mistaken-Wal-Mart would not have a policy that
made individual stores/employees purchase their own flag, "for heavens
sake"!! My co-employees suggested I just call Wal-Marts corporate offices
and there I would discover the truth to this misunderstanding.

So, I did-I called the Corporate office and spoke to their representative.
By the way, their number is 1-800-Wal-Mart. Do you know what I was told? I
wasn't misunderstanding their policy! Each store must provide their own
flag-if the store can't fit the expense into their budget, then the
employees have to take up a collection. Now, I find this a disgrace. I
have
always noticed the large flags flying at every Perkins Pancake House-they
always fly the flag, even when there isn't a National Emergency. But
here's
Wal-Mart, the company who has become wealthy beyond measure in this great
Country of ours; who claims to be "one big happy family", who recommends
we
"Buy American", but who cannot/will not provide a flag pole/flag and light
to each of their stores wherever they are. Would this be expensive? Oh,
somewhat, I agree, but I hear that Wal-Mart is planning to build many new
stores in the near future and that, possibly, they will make every
existing
store into a "super-store". Now, I realize that expanding like that will
bring in more money and make them wealthier still-where providing flags to
all their stores would only COST money and not add money to their fortune.
Maybe, just maybe, not providing flags to their stores and not flying the
flag in support of our Country will start costing them more money-maybe I
will start looking more closely for the flag before I shop and begin
supporting the smaller stores who don't worry so much about the "bottom
line", but rather are happy to spend somemoney to show they really love
America. Do you think I am really way off base on this, or do you feel
the same. Thanks for taking the time to think about this with me-if you
feel the same, forward this on to your address list-if not, that's what
your "Delete" is for.

WalMart is who has put American workers out of business in the textile market, clothing manufacturing market, and God knows what else! Find me something in WalMart not made in China, Korea, India, Pakistan, etc.
Why would you expect anything more from them? They watched 'Field of Dreams' and got the message loud and clear, "If you build it, they will come". And we do--just like the line of cars at the end of the movie.
I'm sure the local AmVets or other such organization will be more than glad to help any WalMart get a flag at a reasonable cost or for free.
I would think the employees would have contributed 50 cents a piece and purchased one if they really wanted one flying on the store property.

Well, I guess we should all protest good ol' Sam Walton's company. Daggum shame they don't put no flag outside their store.... wake up people.....

Patriotism is a sham for people that can't think for themselves. Who really cares if Wally Mart has a flag?

My company doesn't have a flag flying outside the office and no one seems bothered by it.

Patriotism is what helped us survive 9/11. I hope you repeat that statement in public where someone knocks the total crap out of you.
