What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? :) My attorney sends me a letter that he is is petitioning the court to withdraw from my case. The copy of petition is not dated, no case number, & is not signed. Yet received this past Friday, is requesting my appearance before the court tomorrow, Wednesday. Is this legal? It was my understanding the court would send me a request to appear.
