we never recieved a copy of the search and seizure papers when some items were taken from our home. We did sign consent papers but whe we try to call and find out about getting our stuff back they ask us for a # that we don't have for our belongings.
Shouldn't we have recieved something?
And how long can a state legally keep our belongings? We have been questioned about the issue..but nothing further has resulted.
please answer
thanks
