What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
If the police come to your property with a search warrant for one item and they find that one item not in your house but down in the trailer of the person who rents space from you, do they still have the right to go through your house with a fine tooth comb? Even though they found what they were specifically looking for in someone else's home that just happens to be on your property and they found it right away?

If the search warrant is so limited as to describe only one very specific item, then once they find it the warrant would seem to have been fully executed.

It is rare to see such a warrant, but it can happen.

Most warrants include language that allows for a search for items related to specific acts associated with the crime. But, if it says that they are searching for an Acme Widget with serial number 123ABC and they find that specific item right away, there would seem to be no good reason to proceed further
