Security Deposit question

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

I moved out of my month-to-month rented room two weeks ago. I have texted my landlord about getting my security deposit back and he has either not responded or responded that he doesn't have the money to pay me back right now. I have images/confirmation of the security deposit and rent checks I gave him being cashed as well as text/email conversations saved. The text/email conversations state the amount of the deposit and rent. Can I file and win in small claims court with that evidence?

The landlord has 30 days to return the deposit.

Maek sure your LL has your new address. Send him a letter via certified mail.

Any yes, he has 30 days, so no reason to be upset.
