What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

My mother was a shareholder in a closely held corporation, a restaurant. How is this share distributed generally if it was not directly addressed in a will, if there are multiple inheritors?

Thank you.

Sorry, I'm just trying not to muddle any answers to multiple questions. Thought direct was best.
Direct is best, which is why you should keep everything in one forum. You're scattering relevant facts to the wind.
