What is the name of your state? Minnesota

I will be having surgery and will be using my short term disability benefit that I pay for on my full time job. Because I live alone I need a part time job to survive. If my disability totally disables me from my full time job for the six to eight weeks predicted, am I able to work at my part time job which is completely different and my disability does not affect without harming my payable benefits from Insurance????
