But were they supposed to porvide me with the paper explaining the uses of the drug, the possible side effets and all the other information that's provided with meds?

On the couple of occation where I have been on prescription medicine (after foot surgery), the bottle of pills always disclose possible side effects. Did you bottle (or whatever it was) of medication really say NOTHING at all?

I for one, who never needs medication, would never put any "drug" in me that I hadn't read up on.
