Venue would not be the proper term, but personal jurisdiction. From your posts, it seems you have some experience with e-bay. Do you do a lot of business in Illinios?

(I don't see anything in the facts which make it seem this guy can win his suit. Even if you sold him a box of rocks, the damages would not be recission of the contract.)

Thank you Tanquility for your correction on the terms. I do handle a lot of business on ebay...and for the most part have never had a single issue or problem. The business I have is from all over, not just Illinios.
