In South Dakota what proof of residency is required to file for divorce?
According to Statute 25-4-30 I only have to be a resident at the time of filing to be able to get a divorce in South Dakota (http://sdlegislature.gov/Statutes/Codified_Laws/DisplayStatute.aspx?Type=Statute&Statute=25-4-30). It seems that the only form that mentions residency is form UJS 319B (https://ujs.sd.gov/Forms/divorce.aspx). Is some other document required to prove residency, or is filling out the form enough? For example, to get a driver's license in SD apparently you have to have a proof of address in SD and a receipt of one night stay in SD. Nothing like this is mentioned on the court website though...
thanks
